Dear Reader
Dear Reader:
You are amazing! Have you heard that already today? If so, it’s always nice to hear it a few times. If not, I hope this is the first out of many. You are amazing!
Sometimes, a lot of times, life is hard. You need to remember how awesome you are. There have been countless times when you could not understand how you were supposed to go on, but you did. Numerous times when you could not fathom being any happier, and then boom! Joy seeping out your pores. Times when you can’t imagine seeing any goodness in the chaos of the world, but then you look deeper, and you find a sliver of light. How incredible is that? How incredible are you?!?
You are beautiful, inside and out. There are plenty of days when you can’t get your hair right, you have a huge pimple, none of your clothes look or feel right. And, plenty of days when you just feel off. It’s a struggle to smile, to cope, to deal with other humans. However, even with these feelings and thoughts, you are gorgeous. So, if you look in the mirror and can’t see it, say it! Then say it again, and smile. You will see it, even if you feel like you are searching for what feels like forever.
You are human, and that can be hard. Mistakes are made, A LOT. Some mistakes are easily fixed, quickly forgotten. Others are doosies, whoppers, seemingly impossible to remedy. Those are the mistakes that you own, you acknowledge, you work tirelessly to repair. Those mistakes help define who you are, who you will be. You are miraculous. Keep working, forgive, grow, learn. That is what makes being human so incredible, the ability to know you will mess something up and the desire to make it better.
You are on this earth to make a difference. That difference may seem insignificant to you, but it may mean everything to someone else. Always remember that you can do so much good by just being genuine, loving and kind; by being amazing, incredible, beautiful, human you.
These words are true, we are all amazing. Please remember that. And, if any of these reminders helped you to feel just a little bit better about who you are, pass it on.
With love,
Kati Samargia
